DOGTIE is part of My SOS Family Ltd who provide Alert Systems to vulnerable people who spend time alone.
Like you, our team love and are proud dog owners, we treat our dogs like family and we know they want to spend lots of time outdoors with us.
We talked to lost of dog owners who shared examples when there was no choice but to leave a dog unattended, albeit for just a couple of minutes.
Examples like ;
- daily morning walking routine (especially elderly owners) of buying a newspaper and leaving the dog outside,
- primary school parent's having to tether the dog at the school gates, due to 'no dogs allowed in schools,
- popping to the loo in a dog friendly pub, restaurant or cafe and having to leave the dog tied under the table.
- on holiday with the dog and needing to pop into a shop for a few minutes.
- and many other examples you can imagine.
We looked everywhere for a product to help prevent a dog from being stolen, something that's handy, easy-to-carry and use, most importantly it needed to be 100% safe and comfortable for any dog.
There were a few products, but nothing that ticked all the boxes, so we created the DOGTIE Dog Lock.
The combination lock means no keys to remember or lose, it's light enough to simply fit in a pocket and strong enough to safely secure any dog in an easy and comfortable way and will not tighten around neck once locked.
The DOGTIE is both a visible deterrent and it will also Stop any opportunistic Dog Thief.
